Though the center’s operating rooms weren’t affected by the rupture, the facility’s waiting room was flooded, as were the pre- and postoperative care areas, Rick DeHart, an official the center’s management company Pinnacle III told Summit Daily, a community newspaper located in Summit County, Colo.
Mr. DeHart added he was uncertain as to the cause of break, but hazarded a guess that the recent spate of extremely cold weather played a factor. He estimated the repair process to take two to four weeks.
The nearby St. Anthony Summit Medical Center will provide accommodations for Peak One until the facility’s issue can be remedied.
