MEDNAX acquires Metropolitan Anesthesia Alliance

MEDNAX acquired Memphis, Tenn.-based Metropolitan Anesthesia Alliance.

The private physician group practice was established in 2001. It employs 73 full-time anesthesia providers. The practice will become part of MEDNAX’s American Anesthesiology division, and it is the fourth anesthesiology practice the company has acquired in Tennessee.
