1. The Zoning Board denied George Comfort & Sons’ application to amend the zoning in September 2014 from a commercial district to medical facility.
2. George Comfort & Sons now has a revised plan for the board.
3. Stamford Hospital opposed the zoning amendment last year, and will oppose the revised application as well.
4. Opposition contends expanding uses in commercial zones requires more study.
5. George Comfort & Sons says the hospital is out to “stop competition” according to the report. Stamford Hospital denies this claim.
