Woodland Health Center surgery center receives donation for young patients

The Woodland Health Center received a donation from Michigan City PetSmart for their young patients, according to a Valpo Life report.

The surgery center was one of a few healthcare facilities that received stuffed animals from Michigan City PetSmart to give to young patients who are treated at the facility.

The Woodland Health Center is part of the Franciscan Physician Network and provides outpatient surgery with the amenities of a fully-equipped surgery center. Specialties at the center include gastroenterology, gynecology, pain management, eye care and vascular surgery.
