FDA appoints Dr. Padma Gulur to the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration appointed Padma Gulur, MD, to its Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, according to an ASA report.

Dr. Gulur is a professor in the department of anesthesiology and perioperative care at the University of California, Irvine. She is also a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Committee on Pain Medicine.

The Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee provides advice to the FDA on scientific, technical and medical issues concerning drug compounding.
