Baltimore Washington Eye Center adds Alcon CENTURION Vision System

Glen Burnie, Md.-based Baltimore Washington Eye Center incorporated the Alcon CENTURION Vision System.

The system is a lens removal system that allows ophthalmologists to create and maintain a consistent and stable fluid environment inside the eye while performing the actual cataract removal or phacoemulsification portion of the procedure, noted Brad Spagnolo, MD, a cataract surgeon.

The Baltimore Washington Eye Center is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and licensed by the state of Maryland and Medicare.
