Newman Regional Health to acquire $345k endoscopy system

Newman Regional Health, based in Emporia, Kan., held their final meeting of the year, and the board of trustees approved the health system’s 2015 budget, according to a report by The Emporia Gazette.

A part of the coming year’s budget will be spent on a $345,094 endoscopy system. The system currently in use is become outdated. The new system will be equipped with HD scopes and will allow physicians to handle increasing endoscopy volume.
