Under the arrangement, SCA and some physician partners will jointly own the multi-specialty center and SCA will manage it. The surgery center will continue its current focuses on gastroenterology, colonoscopy screening, colon and rectal surgery, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry, otolaryngology, urology and pain management, according to the release.
SCA operates 129 ASCs and surgical hospitals across the country.
