AMA releases fact sheet for physician compliance with new Hydrocodone rules

The American Medical Association has released a factsheet to help physicians comply with new federal regulations surrounding prescription of hydrocodone.

The new rules, which place hydrocodone combination products on Controlled Substance Schedule II, take effect Oct. 6.
