Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists honors Dr. John Vondrell

John J. Vondrell, MD, received the Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists’ 2014 Distinguished Service Award, according to a Brookfield Now report.

Dr. Vondrell served as an anesthesiologist at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital for more than 30 years. During that time, he served as chairman of the department of anesthesiology as well as the hospital’s chief of staff. He has also served as president of the Milwaukee Society of Anesthesiologists and Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists.

Early in 2014, Dr. Vondrell traveled on surgical mission trips to Peru and Guatemala, according to the report.
