UNMC announces new surgery center at Midtown Crossing

Omaha-based University of Nebraska Medical center has announced plans for a $70 million, 170,000 square foot outpatient facility, including an outpatient surgery center in the city’s Midtown Crossing neighborhood, according to a report from KETV.

The ASC will be 42,000 square feet and will “complement existing outpatient clinics and the treatment center,” according to the report. The entire project will be completed in 2016 and will expand UNMC’s service coverage to West Omaha.
