Kennedy Health System has proposed a $55 million overall of its Kennedy University Hospital campus in Cherry Hill, N.J. A key component of the plan involves replacing a 24,000-square-foot medical office building with a 102,000-square-foot modern facility. The new facility will house a surgery center, medical offices, laboratory services and a rehabilitation program.
Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas plans to build a new ambulatory care center in Frisco, Texas. The new facility would offer outpatient surgery and outpatient clinic visits.
Stormont-Vail HealthCare, based in Topeka, Kan., has broken ground on an 87,657-square-foot, $20 million surgery center.
Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle plans to open its new 10-operating room surgery center on Sept. 22.
