Precision Orthopedics surgeons host robotic joint replacement seminar for patients

Albert Doornik, MD, and Bert Tardieu, MD, both surgeons at Salinas, Calif.-based Precision Orthopedics, will hold a seminar on computer-assisted joint surgery in early August, according to a report from The Californian.

The seminar is focused on educating members of the public on technology and issues associated with joint surgery and joint replacement, covering problems and advances in surgery techniques today. Dr. Doornik will also demonstrate computer-assisted surgery on a model leg, according to the report.

The surgeons will hold the event at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System, where they are also members of the medical staff.
