Surgery Center of Kenai opens, seeks transfer agreement

The Surgery Center of Kenai (Alaska) recently opened, but cannot yet perform procedures on Medicare and Medicaid patients, according to a Peninsula Clarion report.

The surgery center is working to enter into a transfer agreement with the nearby Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, Alaska. Thus far, no progress has been made.
