The Orthopedic Institute of Western Kentucky currently includes 9 physicians and future growth is anticipated. The mission of MASC is to provide the highest quality orthopedic care to patients in order to attain optical musculoskeletal function in a cost effective and timely manner. The institute treats injuries with the sports medical model, which has been successful to facilitate rapid recovery to activity.
The Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center encompassing all clinical and operational activities. The team will include Medical Director and a Director of Nursing. This person is responsible for achieving objectives of the Center, establishing, developing and implementing policies approved by the board. This person will also coordinate activities within the center with center managers and assuring that operations of the center are met with a high standard of quality, efficiency, and excellence. A successful Administrator will have the capacity to learn, desire to succeed and the wisdom to challenge. They must possess a strong character, integrity, commitment, strong communication skills, and a passion for success.
Qualifications: Minimum 5-10 years management experience in health care or related industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Ambulatory Surgery Center management experience is required. Candidate must be able to function well under pressure, detail orientated and critical thinking skills with management and problem solving. Positive interpersonal skills are a must for success.
