Dr. Carbone’s new title is president and COO. Previously she served as executive vice president and COO at Wake Forest Baptist. She succeeds Thomas E. Sibert, MD, who plans to retire on Aug. 31.
Dr. Carbone has completed her anesthesiology residency at Chicago-based Northwestern University and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
