Florida Society of Anesthesiologists Gives Dr. Kurt Markgraf Distinguished Service Award

The Florida Society of Anesthesiologists has given Kurt Markgraf, MD, its Distinguished Service Award.

Dr. Markgraf is the current chair of the department of anesthesiology at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Fla., and is also a partner at Medical Anesthesia and Pain Management Associates in Fort Myers. He became a member of the FSA in 1991 and joined the FSA Board in 1996.

The Distinguished Service Award is the highest tribute the FSA can pay to a member for clinical, educational or scientific achievement, contribution to the specialty and service to the society.
