Federal Office of Management & Budget to Review ICD-10 Interim Final Rule

Last week, the ICD-10 interim final rule entered the federal Office of Management and Budget for review, according to an ICD10 Monitor report.

The OMB generally has 90 days to review the rule and make changes, according to the report. Though the healthcare industry has looked to Oct. 1, 2015 as the new implementation date, there is no guarantee that this is set in stone.
