Opened in 1994, this Punta Gorda, Fla.-based surgery center is committed to patient satisfaction and was named among the “Great Surgery Centers to Work For” by Becker’s ASC Review in 2011. At that time, there was little staff turnover, and many of the staff members took ownership in their work.
The ASC kept a close eye on opportunities to improve as well, gathering patient feedback to bridge gaps in the reception area, billing, preoperative process and recovery room area.
