Illinois State Medical Society Names Dr. William McDade President

The Illinois State Medical Society has named anesthesiologist William A. McDade, MD, president, according to a Centre Daily Times report.

Dr. McDade is an associate professor of anesthesia and critical care at University of Chicago Medicine. He is a past president for the Chicago Medical Society and Chicago Society of Anesthesiologists. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
