Washington University Appoints Robert Gereau as Dr. Seymour and Rose T. Brown Professor of Anesthesiology

Washington University in St. Louis announced that Robert W. Gereau IV, PhD, has been named the Dr. Seymour and Rose T. Brown Professor of Anesthesiology at its school of medicine in St. Louis.

Dr. Gereau is also a professor of anatomy and of neurobiology and is the director of the Washington University Pain Center. His research has been supported continuously by National Institutes of Health grants for the last 15 years, and he is a member of the board of directors of the American Pain Society.
