Surgery Center of Oklahoma Accepting Bitcoin for Billing

Oklahoma City-based Surgery Center of Oklahoma has announced it will accept the cryptocurrency Bitcoin as a legitimate method of payment, according to The Global Dispatch.

G. Keith Smith, MD, managing partner and medical director of the ASC said the arrangement was for the convenience of customers. “When they see we are willing to make arrangements on this end to accommodate their pay, it’s a very customer friendly business. That’s the nature of the free market,” he said to the Dispatch.
