AAHHS Launches Nation Accreditation Program for Small, Rural & Critical Access Hospitals

The Accreditation Association for Hospitals/Health Systems announced the launch of a nationally-recognized, comprehensive accreditation program specifically for rural hospitals, critical access hospitals and small hospitals with less than 200 beds.

The new standards, which are designed to meet the specific needs of smaller hospitals, provide these hospitals the option to undergo a collaborative, consultative and peer-reviewed accreditation process.
