The report includes responses from 4,600 physicians.

When asked what their primary reason is for choosing employment, respondents reported the following:

•    Financial security/Less risk — 38 percent
•    Fewer administrative responsibilities — 29 percent
•    Better hours/ Work-life balance — 19 percent
•    Other — 15 percent
