Anesthesia Foundation Hosts Fundraiser for Volunteer Work in Haiti

The Citizens of the World Foundation, a foundation run by a team of anesthesiologists, is hosting a carnival in Bismarck, N.D., to collect money and raise awareness about its medical volunteer trips to Haiti, according to a KFYR-TV report.

The foundation organizes medical trips to offer education and training to anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists at Justinian University Hospital in Haiti. The foundation has purchased an anesthesia machine for the hospital in Haiti and hopes to purchase two more anesthesia machines, spinal needles and portable kits before their upcoming trip on April 4, according to the article.
