Anesthesiologist Dr. Tim Melson to Run for Alabama Senate

Tim Melson, MD, an anesthesiologist and business owner, is running for the District 1 seat in the Alabama Senate, according to a report by The News Courier.

Dr. Melson began practicing as an anesthesiologist at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Ala., where he served as chief of anesthesia from 1993 to 2008. He is a member of the Medical Association of Alabama and the American Society of Anesthesiology.
