After receiving cataract surgery in both eyes, Dr. Levenson joined with Surgical Eye Expeditions to provide eye care for patients in Peru, Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico, according to the report. He previously coordinated a local program that provided surgery for underserved Jacksonville residents.
Dr. Levenson earned his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta.
