26% of Physicians Believe Payment Methodology Changes Would be Bad for Practices

More than 26 percent of physicians believe that a shift in payment methodology would be bad for their practice, according to the 2013 Fee Schedule Survey Data released by Physicians Practice.

The survey polled 2,619 physicians.

When asked what it would mean for their practice if there was a shift in payment methodology, respondents reported the following:

•    Good for my practice — 16.2 percent
•    Bad for my practice — 26.6 percent
•    Neither good nor bad for my practice — 22.7 percent
•    I’m not sure yet — 34.4 percent
