Brookside Surgery Center, a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC), was founded in 1997 and acquired by Meridian Surgical Partners in 2008. The facility is composed of more than 15 board-certified and credentialed physicians who perform outpatient surgical procedures in general surgery, gynecology, hand surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, and urology.
“Partnering with Bronson Battle Creek allowed Brookside Surgery Center an opportunity to build a strategic relationship with a local and reputable healthcare provider. Brookside Surgery Center will continue its commitment of being the preferred high-quality, low-cost provider of outpatient surgical care in a safe and efficient ASC setting,” says Cathy Kowalski, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Meridian Surgical Partners.
“We are pleased to solidify our relationship with Brookside Surgery Center and its providers by becoming a minority partner in the center. Through this investment, we hope to enhance collaboration and coordination of care for surgical patients in our community,” says Anne Regling, interim CEO, Bronson Battle Creek.
