New England Journal of Medicine Features Dr. Rafael Ortega’s Endotracheal Extubation Training Video

An endotracheal extubation training video produced by Boston Medical Center anesthesiologist, Rafael Ortega, MD, and his colleagues is featured in this week’s New England Journal of Medicine, according to a Medical Xpress report.

Dr. Ortega is vice chair of academic affairs for the department of anesthesiology at Boston Medical Center and professor of anesthesiology at Boston University School of Medicine.

The training video is the seventh BMC-produced video to be featured in the journal and it provides best practices for physicians using endotracheal extubation.
