American Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group Develops ICD-10 Certification Training

American Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group launched its program to train coders as ICD-10 Inpatient Certified Coding Specialists.

The need for coders may drastically increase with the onset of ICD-10, and the increased specificity of the new code set will present a great challenge to all. The AHDPG certification program was developed in partnership with Pamela Haney, MS, CPC-H.

The program tackles medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pathopharmacology, health information and delivery systems, legal and compliance issues and more. It can be taken remotely.
