Texas County Provides Tax Break to Proposed Surgery Center

Houston County, Texas, has agreed to provide a tax break to a proposed surgery center in Crockett, Texas, in order to bring expanded medical services and jobs to the county, according to a report by KTRE News.

County commissioners approved a five year tax abatement for the ASC, which is being developed by Houston County Medical Investors, according to the report.

The ASC is expected to expand access to pain management, neurosurgery and other outpatient medical services currently not available in the area.
