The Medical Center of Southeast Texas Begins Construction on New Outpatient Surgery Center

The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas, has begun construction on a new 6,661-square-foot surgery center, according to a report by the Port Arthur News.

The Medical Center, which is owned by IASIS Healthcare, will break ground on the outpatient facility on Dec. 9, according to the report.

The surgery center will be attached to the hospital but will feature its own entrance and registration.

The surgery center is expected to be complete within a year, according to the report.
