Dr. Bill Cleary Helps Establish Foundation Providing Education, Equipment for Haiti Hospitals

Bill Cleary, MD, an anesthesiologist at St. Alexius Medical Center, has started the Citizens of the World Foundation, along with three others, according to a report by The Bismarck Tribune.

The foundation aims at increasing access to anesthesiology education for medical professionals in Haiti and improving medical equipment used at the hospitals. The goal is to eventually expand the educational opportunities to include different areas of healthcare.

Dr. Cleary and a nurse anesthetist at St. Alexius started the foundation along with two of their counterparts in Haiti, according to the report.
