Moran Eye Surgery Center Holds 2nd Charitable Surgery Day

The University of Utah Moran Eye Center has recently held a Charitable Surgery Day, to perform cataract surgery for the community’s underserved population, according to a report in Explore Utah Science.

The event began two years ago and included several surgeon, anesthesia and nursing volunteers. The governor of Utah recently proclaimed Oct. 10 Utah Sight Day to support the importance of eye checks and public health education.
