The surgery center has partnered with the Nevada Colon Cancer Partnership, American Cancer Society and Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America to host the Nationwide 2013 Crawl the Colon Exhibit. The exhibit, open for one day, includes an interactive 40-foot long crawl-through replica of the human colon to educate about colon diseases and colorectal cancer.

Gastroenterology Associates established the Ambulatory Surgical Center of Southern Nevada in 2004 and physicians have performed more than 20,000 procedures there since. The facility is accredited by AAAHC and focused on treating digestive disorders.
