Spacelabs Healthcare Partners With Blue-Zone Technologies on Eco-Friendly Anesthesia

Spacelabs Healthcare partnered with Blue-Zone Technologies to offer the Blue-Zone Technologies’ Deltasorb anesthetic collection service to eliminate the release of harmful halogenated anesthetics.

The release of halogenated anesthetics is a significant contributor to pharmaceutical waste in the public environment. The partnership will allow Blue-Zone to expand it’s collection of anesthetic gases from Ontario to global sources. The Deltasorb captures exhausted halogenated gases and allows for processing these gases into drugs.
