Florida Medical Association Names Dr. Alana Harmon President

The Florida Medical Association elected Alan Harmon, MD, the group’s 137th president at its annual meeting in Orlando, according to a Jacksonville Business Journal report.

Dr. Harmon is a board-certified gastroenterologist who practices at Borland-Groover Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla. He has a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Dr. Harmon succeeds Past-President Vincent DeGennaro, MD.
