American College of Sports Medicine Grants Dr. David Nieman Citation Award

The American College of Sports Medicine has named David Nieman, DrPH, of Appalachian State University, a recipient of its Citation Award.

Dr. Nieman is a professor and director of the Human Performance Laboratory at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.

 

Dr. Nieman received the award for his work in health and exercise sciences. He focuses his research on exercise immunology.
