Study: Mandate With Consequences Boosts Hospital Staff’s Flu Shot Rate

Hospitals that mandated influenza vaccinations for healthcare workers and terminated employees for noncompliance increased vaccination rates an estimated 12.8 percentage points compared with their rates before this policy, according to a study in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.
