Virox is the first chemical manufacturer in Canada to develop products certified by EcoLogo and Green Seal (other companies evaluating environmental friendly practices and sustainability) and manufacture them in a LEED-certified facility, according to the news release.
LEED certification recognizes Virox’s building for improving energy savings, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, stewardship of resources and consideration of their impacts, as well as CO2 emissions reduction, according to the release.
