$20M Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute Opens in Nebraska

The University of Nebraska Medical Center has opened in the $20 million, 54,536-square-foot Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute in Omaha, according to a Livewell Nebraska report.

Quan Dong Nguyen, MD, is the director of the institute.

Beginning next year, UNMC plans to build an eye surgery center attached to the west side of the facility.

The facility is named after Stanley M. Truhlsen, MD, a former chairman of the UNMC ophthalmology and visual sciences department.
