St. Margaret’s Initiates Expansion, Adds Endoscopy Suites & Ablation Technology

St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley, Ill., is moving forward with an expansion of its surgical and ambulatory departments, which will include two endoscopy rooms and the addition of the Barrx Medical HALO systems, according to a report by The Times.

The endoscopy rooms will be added to the same day surgery unit, which will include 32 total bays.

The Barrx Medical HALO systems utilize ablation technology to treat Barrett’s Esophagus.
