Dr. Tanzer, board-certified ophthalmologist, earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency and internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Tanzer holds a cornea, external disease and refractive surgery fellowship from the Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
