Drs. Richard McGlaughlin, Richard Honer Honored for Work Abroad

EndoChoice, a gastrointestinal device company, has honored Richard McGlaughlin, MD, and Richard Honer, MD, as EndoHeroes for medical service done outside of the U.S.

Dr. McGlaughlin spends one week each month doing volunteer work at the GI clinic he established in Haiti. He currently practices with Alabama Digestive Diseases, P.C. in Birmingham, Ala.

Dr. Honer conducts mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He currently practices at the Gessler Clinic in Winter Haven, Fla.

EndoChoice established EndoHeroes as a non-profit organization to honor GI professionals that strive to offer excellence in care and community service.
