CMS Listening Sessions Prepare Providers, Payors for ICD-10

National Government Services, on behalf of CMS, is hosting listening sessions to obtain feedback on ICD-10 end-to-end testing and HIPAA administrative requirements.

NGS released draft checklists for payor, large practice and small practice testing. NGS and CMS will update the drafts once feedback comes in. The end-to-end testing is designed to evaluate the ICD-10 preparedness of all parties, including vendors and payors, and to work out any problems before the code set is implemented.
