FDA Grants 510(k) Clearance to Medline’s Gemini Sterilization Wrap

Medline’s Gemini Sterilization Wrap received FDA 510(k) clearance to be used in steam, ethylene oxide and STERRAD(R) System sterilization processes.

The Gemini sterilization wrap, made of polypropylene SMS nonwoven fabric, is designed to cover medical instruments and devices before sterilization and to maintain the state of sterilization for 180 days.

The Gemini wrap, available in five different weights and a multitude of sizes, is one of the first sterilization wraps to be FDA cleared for the three main sterilization systems.
