CMS May Measure ASC Patient Satisfaction

CMS has asked for stakeholders to provide input on measures that would be included in a survey of patient satisfaction for ASCs and HOPDs, according to an ASCA report.

CMS is working with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to develop this survey, in order to gain insight into satisfaction with ASC and HOPD service. ASCA is working with the ASC Quality Collaboration and specialty societies to provide information and expertise necessary for CMS to develop the survey.
