MEDNAX Reports 16.4% Revenue Growth in 4Q

MEDNAX, the anesthesia and medical specialty group, reported a net income growth of 13 percent to $66.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2012, according to the Fort Mill Times.

The company’s revenue grew by 16.4 percent to $471.2 million in the fourth quarter. For the full year of 2012, revenue grew 14.4 percent to $1.82 billion.

In 2012, MEDNAX acquired eight physician group practices to its American Anesthesiology division and eight group practices to its Pediatrix Medical Group.
