Illinois Gastroenterology Center Opens Doors

The Central Illinois Endoscopy Center in Peoria, Ill., has opened for business, according to a report by the Pekin (Ill.) Chamber of Commerce.

The outpatient endoscopy center, a joint venture between Methodist Medical Center and Illinois Gastroenterology Institute, is located on the 5th floor of the Illinois Medical Center, according to the report.

The center’s services will include colonoscopy, dilation of the esophagus, EGD and flexible sigmoidoscopy, according to the report.
